All change in the South West!

Of course over the last few weeks there has been gradual changes in Stagecoach South West's fleet. There are now approximatley 8 Scania N230UD/Enviro 400's now in service. The Volvo Olympians have now unfortunatley vanished from Torbay and the first Torbay Trident is now in Barnstaple.

Ex-Torbay 18070 (WA04CSF) was seen in Barnstaple 15/2/12

Im still wondering what is going to happen to the remainder of the Tridents and when the last of the Olympian's from Barnstaple will go. Only time will tell.

Some are clueless!

Not very often I post about cars etc but I thought i'd bring you these photo's of some illeagal parking in an appalling place.

There was a whole line of cars parked further up the lane however my phone died so i could get them on camera. There is a sign clearly stating not to park there as bigger vehicles have to get through past them.Of course the lane down to Cockington Village is narrow enough and buses like Devonian's service 50 which uses Mercedes 709D's struggle to get through there as it is without the cars there so with them there causes a nightmare all round. Also with the tight bends on that lane, visibility of whats coming the other way is also made harder by these cars.

The car owners would be the first to complain if their cars got scraped by another vehicles and would more than likely deny that it is their own fault despite the signs being there telling them not to park.

These photo's are being passed on to Torbay Council by Devonian Motor Services so this problem will hopefulyl end.
