Although 2 days late writing the post...South West Transport News wish everybody reading a Happy and Healthy 2013. 2012 was a eventful year in the Transport World down South with the Arrival of the 23 new Scanias for Stagecoach South West and the departure of the Transbus Tridents to Barnstaple. We also witnessed the introduction of Go-Ahead Plymouth's new Volvo B7RLE buses and the closure of Devonian Motor Services in late October. The number of Volvo Olympians in Stagecoach Torbay has dwindled to Just one (16137 R137EVX) , though 16050 and 16062 R150VPU and R162VPU respectively did appear in Paignton on New Years Eve...ironically my Birthday.

So thats it for 2012 and we Enter 2013 with plenty to look forward to and firstly the arrival of 9 new Scania Enviro 400's for Exeter routes 52A/52B services. I've heard romours that this will bring the 02 plate Tridents into Torbay to replace the ageing S and T plate ones.

Have a Great 2013 and may all your dreams come true!
